St. John Unitarian Universalist Fellowship- this wonderful little community in St. John has invited me back to preach in February and March of 2008. What a privilege to join them as guest minister.
February 17- Skeleton Woman- McCabe and I will dance and tell this story of transformation. Then we’ll relate how it resonates with our own life journeys and how it might illuminate your own.
February 24- Is Community a Fantasy? We all want to believe in the vision of living in a beloved community but we all experience the tensions and conflicts that split us apart. How can they be bridged? We’ll look at Margaret Wheatley’s book- --One Another and other resources.
March 2 - Jesus, Again? During the Christian season of Lent what lessons can Unitarian Universalists learn from the ancient stories? Marcus Borg gives some good clues in his book Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time.
Unitarian Universalist Coastal Fellowship- In the Fall the Rev. Sally White will be on sabbatical and I will be preaching here in Morehead City once a month. Watch for topics and dates.
